Delegate Your VoP Responses to Qombo

If you prefer not to manage the VoP response system, Qombo offers a fully managed Cloud solution.

With this approach, you simply provide your account holder database, and Qombo takes care of:

  • Securely storing your data in our shared infrastructure.
  • Responding to PSP requests with accurate verification results.
  • Handling authentication, validation, and compliance with EPC’s VoP scheme.

How it works

Qombo’s Responsibilities

Once your data is stored, Qombo manages the entire VoP response process:

  1. Validates and authorizes incoming requests from other PSPs.
  2. Finds the account holder linked to the IBAN.
  3. Performs the required identity match based on EPC’s VoP scheme.
  4. Sends the verification response back to the requesting PSP.

Your Responsibilities

To ensure accurate responses, you are responsible for:

  • Keeping account holder data up to date by regularly updating Qombo’s database.

Managing data updates

Qombo stores your account holder data in a shared infrastructure, using the IBAN as the unique identifier for each customer.

How to Update Data

When you submit an IBAN, the associated data overwrites any existing record.

You can choose to update only specific records or send the full database with each API call.

This flexibility allows you to maintain accurate records while optimizing data transfer based on your internal processes.
